Will a wide SUV fit the garages under Prospect Street?
Some of them, yes; several of them, no. The older structures behind Prospect were built for 1970s cars, with posts close to the bays and a spiral ramp that leaves little margin for a full-width SUV. Tell the manager which address the car will live at for the week and he will steer the choice — a GLC 300 or an X3 fits anywhere in the village.
Can the car be delivered to UCSD or the Torrey Pines hotels?
Yes. Campus handovers are done at the kerb on North Torrey Pines Road or in a visitor bay off Gilman Drive rather than inside the housing complexes, since the loops there are permit-controlled. The Estancia and the Lodge at Torrey Pines take the car at their front entrance, and the golf course lot is used only when players arrange it with the starter.
