Rolls-Royce Cullinan
The ultimate luxury SUV — a bespoke purple Cullinan for the month.
Bel Air is estate country behind three gates — East, West and the Stone Canyon entrance off Sunset. The roads inside are narrow, blind and lined with hedges: Stone Canyon Road, Bellagio, Chalon, Roscomare climbing toward Mulholland. It is a neighbourhood where the car is seen at the motor court and at the gate, not on a boulevard, which changes what is worth renting.
The driving that matters here is what is next to it. Sunset Boulevard is at the bottom of the hill, Beverly Hills is five minutes east, and Mulholland Drive runs along the top with the Valley on one side and the basin on the other. Most of our Bel Air rentals never see a freeway.
We deliver into the motor court, not to the kerb — Bel Air has effectively no street parking and several roads are too narrow to leave a car on. Give us the gate you use and the residence, and the car arrives detailed with the paperwork done. The Hotel Bel-Air handles our deliveries through their valet. Delivery is free from Beverly Hills and $100 from the LAX base, roughly 35 minutes.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the natural Bel Air car: SUV ride height for the driveways, and the only thing that reads correctly at a Stone Canyon gate. The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is the second choice and better on the steeper Roscomare grades. For a long stay where discretion matters more than presence, the Range Rover Sport is the one people actually keep for the month.
