Getting around Indian Wells

Either base is about two hours twenty away, which puts every Indian Wells order on tomorrow's schedule; order today, drive tomorrow. The handover itself happens at the Hyatt Regency or Renaissance motor court, or inside a development once security has been given the name and plate. Fit and function in Indian Wells

How far ahead should a car be booked for BNP Paribas Open week?
Three to four weeks for anything exotic, and a fortnight at minimum for the bigger SUVs. The tournament fills every resort from Palm Springs down to La Quinta and the fleet goes out across the same two weekends. Booking early also pins the delivery slot, which counts for a lot when Highway 111 is crawling by nine in the morning.
Is parking at the Tennis Garden workable with a large SUV?
The main lots off Washington Street are unpaved overflow in places, with attendants packing rows tight, so a GLE 53 fits but the doors open into your neighbours. Arrive before eleven for a paved row near the entrance. Plenty of guests leave the car at the Hyatt and ride the shuttle instead, which is the calmer plan on finals weekend.
