Where does the handover happen on a festival weekend?
At your accommodation, not near the polo grounds. Avenue 50 and Monroe shut to through traffic once gates open, so the driver arrives earlier in the day and the walkaround is done in the driveway. Collection follows the same pattern on Monday morning, before the westbound queue for the 10 builds at Jefferson.
Is it worth keeping the car for the whole festival week rather than the weekend alone?
Often, yes. Mid-April Indio spreads out — Fantasy Springs, the date shops on Highway 111, the run up to Joshua Tree — and taxis thin out badly once the gates shut each night. Holding the car through the week also saves a second drive out from Los Angeles and keeps the same manager on the booking throughout.
What is the minimum rental period?
