Contest week closes lanes on PCH near the pier and fills every beach lot by mid-morning. Deliveries still run, but the handover shifts a few blocks inland, typically the Pacific City structure or a driveway east of Lake Street, rather than the kerb on PCH. Booking a morning window during that week makes the whole thing far simpler.
Where can I park overnight near Main Street?
Blocks off 11th and 14th Streets are permit-only and patrolled after dark, so a driveway or a hotel deck is the reliable answer. Both the Pacific City structure and the Main Promenade garage allow overnight stays for a fee. Beach lots along PCH close after hours, and cars left in them get ticketed or towed.
