Pasadena is the part of Los Angeles that behaves like a real city — walkable in Old Pasadena, wide and green along Orange Grove, with the Huntington and the Rose Bowl a few minutes apart. It also has the best driving road in the county on its doorstep: Angeles Crest Highway climbs out of La Cañada into the San Gabriels and runs for sixty miles with almost nothing on it.

The other thing Pasadena has is the 110 — the original parkway, with those famously short 1940s on-ramps. It is a genuinely interesting drive into Downtown and a good reason to keep something with usable acceleration.
Delivery to Pasadena from either base
We deliver to Pasadena, South Pasadena and San Marino addresses, and to the Langham and Hotel Dena for handovers. From our LAX base it is about 45 minutes on the 105 and 110; from Burbank it is 20, so if your flight can route through BUR the delivery is free. Rose Bowl event weekends need booking a day ahead — the whole Arroyo gets closed off.

Is Angeles Crest Highway worth the drive?
It is the best road in Los Angeles County — sixty miles of sweeping two-lane from La Cañada into the San Gabriels, usually empty on a weekday morning. Check for seasonal closures above Red Box in winter before you set out.
How long does delivery to Pasadena take?
About 45 minutes from our LAX base, or 20 from Burbank. If you are flying into BUR rather than LAX, collection there is free and closer.
What is the minimum rental period?
