Lamborghini Urus
The original super-SUV — a purple Urus with 641 hp and daily usability.
Newport Beach is Orange County's exotic-car capital and it shows on a Saturday morning around Fashion Island. The harbour, the peninsula and Lido are the setting; the driving is PCH south through Corona del Mar to Laguna, which is a better coast road than anything in LA because it actually bends.
It is an hour from our LAX base without traffic and considerably more with it, so Newport is a planned delivery rather than a same-day one. In exchange it is the easiest place in Southern California to park an exotic — wide lots, valet everywhere, and nobody looking twice.
Orange County deliveries are scheduled in advance — send us your dates and hotel and we lock a delivery window. We deliver to the Resort at Pelican Hill, the Balboa Bay Resort and the Lido and Balboa Peninsula addresses, and to Fashion Island for a public handover. Delivery is $100 and takes 60–90 minutes depending on the 405.
The Lamborghini Urus and Ferrari SF90 are what Newport asks for, and both suit the PCH run to Laguna. The Porsche 911 Cabriolet is the enthusiast's answer on the same road. For harbour weekends with people and bags, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan or a BMW X7 makes more sense than a two-seater.
